Constitutional Right of Officers Not Violated by Collection of DNA Samples

The Ninth Circuit ruled today that three police officers who filed a lawsuit against the Phoenix Police Department did not have their constitutional rights violated since the purpose of the DNA collection was to exclude the officers as inadvertent contributors. The full opinion can be found here.
